TAES

Towards an Excellent Service

North Yorkshire Sport is currently undertaking the County Sports Partnership Towards and Excellent Service (TAES) Standard. At North Yorkshire Sport we have chosen to commence this process in order to recognize our strengths and weaknesses and how we can continual improve and grow as a partnership.

What is TAES?

TAES is an approach to helping organisations assess for themselves how and where to get better at what they do. It has a set of tools that support the organisation to continuously improve towards excellence.

TAES was an initiative developed in the East Midlands Region of Sport England, and has been since transferred out as a standard for all CSP’s.

How does it work?

TAES enables you to measure your organisation against a range of criteria under eight key themes:

  • Leadership
  • Policy & Strategy
  • Community Engagement
  • Partnership Working
  • Use of Resources
  • People Management
  • Standards of Service
  • Performance Measurement & Learning

Working through this criterion Organisations are able to rate their level of achievement, and easily identify specific areas for improvement.

North Yorkshire Sport have undertaken the first stage of this process, documents will be available to view online in the near future.
