Disport invites schools/centres and organisations to apply for the Disport Kitemark Gold award.

Kitemarks will be awarded to centres providing evidence of excellence in provision of sporting opportunities/ services for people with PMLD.

Awards will be made by a disport panel of judges, and will be presented at the 2009 FDSO Sport Awards Dinner

Winners will receive a kitemark Plaque/Trophy, and will be widely acknowledged via FDSO media

It is hoped that this pilot award scheme will be adopted nationally
