If you are interested in supporting the teaching programme in a learn to swim environment utilising the ASA National Plan for Teaching Swimming, this certificate is suitable for you.

Achievement of this certificate will qualify you to operate as a support teacher.

It will provide you with the generic "how to teach/coach" skills common to all disciplines together with specific focus on movement literacy. The second part of the course will focus on aquatic teaching including the technical knowledge and practical skills which will allow you to actively support a more senior qualified/licensed aquatic teacher at any level, in the delivery of a pre-prepared session.
