North Yorkshire Aquatics Forum (NYAF)
NYAF comprises swimming representatives from the 8 areas within North Yorkshire County. They include Swimming Development Officers, Sports Development Officers, School Sports Partnership Development Managers, the ASA and the CSP.
Meetings are held approximately every 6 weeks to discuss areas of development and shared working practices. By pooling these resources it allows, increased access to CPD opportunities, PESSCL funding, external funding, Coach/swimmer education and Player Pathways.

ASA/UKCC Level 1 Synchronised Swimming Coach
Unit 1 - Friday 11th May
Saturday 12th May

The level 1 Synchronised Swimming Support Coach sits as the first formally assessed qualification on the coaching qualifications pathway. The course consists of two units covering. Unit 1 has a focus on 'how to coach' skills with a technical emphasis on movement literacy as defined by Long Term Athlete Development (LTAD). Unit 2 has a focus on syncronised swimming coaching, technical knowledge and practical skills.
Pre-requisite: Candidates must be 16 years old on commencement of the course.
