Funding For Sports Club Facility Improvements
North Yorkshire Sport are to host a workshop designed to help sports clubs and facility providers to apply for funding to upgrade their sports facilities
The workshop takes place on Wednesday 8th February 2012 and is to give advice and guidance on the Sport England 'Inspired Facilities' funding stream ahead of the opening of round 2 of the funding in February.
8 clubs or organisations in North Yorkshire have already benefitted from round 1 of the funding which is to help upgrade and improve facilities in clubs, schools and leisure centres. Examples of work funded to date include new changing rooms, resurfacing of courts and playing areas, and storage facilities for equipment. The programme is designed to be simple for clubs to apply with typical grants ranging between £20k - £50k. Sport England colleagues will be on hand to give you information about the funding programme, offer some useful tips and hints with the application and answer any questions that you may have.

1) 3pm - 5pm
2) 7pm - 9pm
