Funding has always been vital to any club or organisation and the current economic climate has made the environment even more challenging.

Individual funding

SportsAid Yorkshire & Humberside (Y&H) has been supporting Yorkshire’s brightest sporting prospects for more than 30 years. Thanks to an active board of governors, grants committee and experienced trustees SportsAid Y&H has raised £2million for emerging athletes in the region since 1976.

By working with key stake holders, including governing bodies, local authorities and businesses, SportsAid Y&H continues to ensure the right athletes in Yorkshire are supported at the right time in their development.

Sport England

Sport England are committed to the creation of a world leading community sport system.  As such they have created pots of funding that eligible organisations and clubs can bid in to.

Small Grants - To support local community sports projects which seek to increase participation, sustain participation or develop opportunities for people to excel at their sport.

Sports Match - To support the development of grassroots sport, and help attract private sector donations by allowing clubs and organisations to apply for 1 to 1 match funding.
