Learn to Roller Derby : Up To Speed

A 4-week fully coached course for brand new and just starting out skaters to get involved in roller derby, an amazing full contact sport played on quad skates!

Sundays from 2:30 - 4:00 (but please plan to get there early to get your kit allocated and on!)

This course covers the basics of being on skates and fundamental skills necessary for playing the sport.

You'll finish the course confident with moving in all directions, stopping and turning, spending time on one foot, and engaging in light contact while on skates.

Open to all genders, ages 16+.
£34 for the four weeks including skate and protection rental.
£26 if you bring your own skates and protection (helmet, mouthguard, wrist guards, knee pads)

We only take 15 people per course to make sure you get all the attention you need as you adjust to life on wheels!

Upon successful completion of the course, (and once you've got the derby bug) you'll be able to sign up for the next class to progress your skills and practice your contact!

What to Bring / Equipment

You will need skates and full protection (mouthguard, elbow pads, wrist guards, knee pads, helmet). Available to hire.

Please book in advance.
