Attracting Participants

To keep clubs and groups sustainable, you'll need to attract new participants but importantly retain them too. Below are some useful guides and links to attracting a range of people to your club or setting. My top tip would be to make sure you place the participants at the heart of your session planning, think about their wants, needs and barriers and base your session around these.

Inclusive activity

Did you know that 14.7 million people in England have an impairment or health condition? This equates to more than 1 in 5 people. What's more, these groups are largely under-represented in the sports sector, with many wanting to do more sport.

Here are a couple of resources and links to get you started.

"We Are Undefeatable" is a movement supporting people with a range of long term health conditions, developed by 15 leading health and social care charities.
