Yorkshire and Humber Learning Community

The workforce within clubs and community settings tell us that they want to continue to learn and develop, but are increasingly struggling to find the time with mounting pressures and commitments. We want to bring you a different way to learn through informal bite size modules. You'll be able to access a range of training from 'Increase your Membership using Facebook' to 'Delivering Engaging Sessions for Women and Girls'. We'll be adding training to the site as it's ready.

This workshop aims to increase the awareness of safeguarding and protecting children and helps coaches to recognise possible signs of abuse and deal sensitively and effectively with issues that arise. It also prompts a review of practice to ensure that sport provides an enriching experience for children, and that coaches' behaviour is always above reproach.
