Activity Alliance is excited to reveal the new updated eLearning course, Delivering an excellent service for disabled customers. With refreshed content, the online module sets out to empower workforces within leisure and sport organisations. Upskilling the teams responsible for customer care in these active environments will enable more disabled people to have a better, positive experience. New resource: Taking a person-centred approach

Activity Alliance is pleased to unveil their new engagement resource titled 'Inclusive activity: taking a person-centred approach' which is attached below.

The resource explains the concept of 'intersectionality' in relation to disabled people. It highlights how a person's social identities connect and overlap; and how this can influence their activity levels. It encourages sport and leisure organisations to look beyond standard demographics and take a person-centred approach when planning and providing opportunities. Read More »
