Grow the Game is back for the 10th year in a row with £1.5m available for clubs to turn their aspirations of creating new female and disability teams into reality.
The scheme, which is funded by The FA and Sport England, and delivered by the Football Foundation, prioritises support for traditionally under-represented groups in grassroots football and last year's edition gave approximately 16,000 people the chance to get involved by creating 884 female and 257 disability teams respectively. Coaches will be able to interact with Powerchair football coaches and players and learn the techniques of the game. This will include passing, shooting, defending, dribbling, ball control and match play.
Coaches are encouraged to interact by offering progressions within the session and reflecting on their own experiences to affect their coaching when working with players with a disability. Read More »

Please find detailed below information for the Disability Football taster sessions,
Venue: Northallerton Leisure centre
Dates of sessions: Wednesday 11th, 18th and 25th of September 2019
Junior sessions (under 16) 6pm-7pm
Senior sessions (over 16) 7pm-8pm
Sessions cost £3.00 per participant per session to attend.
All participants welcome , pending success of the taster sessions, further sessions will be confirmed.

The National CP Football League provides adults with Cerebral Palsy the opportunity to compete in a national league. The league is split into North and South Divisions with teams completing a fixture day a month where they play 2-3 matches.
