North Yorkshire Sport recently secured funding to work with sports clubs in order to help to alleviate loneliness and isolation across our county.
We are delivering a programme which uses sport and physical activity to help overcome issues of loneliness and isolation through strengthening clubs and activity settings to improve their services to older residents around issues wider than sport.

The UKCC Level 1 Award for Assistant Coaches in Badminton is the entry point onto the coaching pathway and qualifies the assistant coach to support the Level 2 coach during a coaching session. This support role might include observation of practice, feeding and group management, to allow the effective delivery of the planned coaching programme

The ASA Level 2 Swimming Teacher qualification is a practical qualification, which develops the knowledge, skills and abilities needed to be a Swimming Teacher.
This qualification builds on the knowledge, skills and abilities developed in the ASA Level 1 Swimming Assistant (Teaching) qualification. When achieved it ensures swimming teachers can effectively and independently plan, prepare, deliver, monitor and evaluate a series of swimming teaching lessons.
