On Stage Two, men and women will face exactly the same stage which starts in Tadcaster. The action commences on the newly-reopened Tadcaster Bridge and ventures into Knaresborough where the first intermediate sprint points are up for grabs. The sole categorised climb comes on the Côte de Lofthouse and then it’s on to Ripon for the second intermediate sprint. The race will skirt Fountains Abbey before a fast approach to Harrogate, and the action will reach its crescendo along Parliament Street, just as it did on the opening stage of the 2014 Tour de France.

On Stage Three The riders roll out of City Park in Bradford and take in Salts Mill before the start flag is lowered. The action then heads to Burley-in-Wharfedale before passing into the Yorkshire Dales. Skipton is the next town on the agenda, with the first of eight categorised climbs. The next ascent comes on Haworth’s main street and another climb at Leeming before the Côte de Shibden Wall, followed by a sprint in Stocksbridge. Riders then embark on a 22km finishing circuit before the race reaches its climax at Fox Valley.

The Maserati Tour de Yorkshire Ride offers a unique mix of Tour de France delivery combined with Yorkshire hospitality and beauty resulting in a sportive dream day. Taking place on the 3rd and final day of the Tour de Yorkshire (Sunday 30 April), this is your chance to ride many of the same roads as the pros before they do, including the pro finish line, complete with support from the waiting crowds. The location has now been announced and we're heading to Fox Valley (Sheffield)!

Come and get involved in Dalby Forest's GO Tri event! Dalby Duathlon for ages 14+ will involve a 2k run, a 8k cycle, followed by a 1k sprint to cross that finish line!
Dalby Duathlon @ Addestone Field will involve a 2.5km run, a 8km cycle, followed by a 1km run to cross that finish line! A great course in a fantastic location. All abilities welcome. We would recommend a mountain bike or a hybrid bike if you have one. The race is not a timed event however you are free to take your own times.

England Boxing is proud to announce that the famous York Hall in Bethnal Green will be the venue for the 2017 Elite National Finals. Fittingly for England's premier boxing event, the finals will be held on St George's day, Sunday the 23rd of April. The 3-day format will continue to be used as in recent years.

The British Swimming Championships 2017 is the highlight of the national events calendar. As British Swimming enters a new Olympic cycle, athletes who shone at Rio 2016 will be taking to the pool again for the title of British Champion, as well as there being a new focus on the next group of athletes to rise to the challenge and take the top performances.
