This workshop aims to increase the awareness of safeguarding and protecting children and helps coaches to recognise possible signs of abuse and deal sensitively and effectively with issues that arise. It also prompts a review of practice to ensure that sport provides an enriching experience for children, and that coaches' behaviour is always above reproach.

Come and take part in Dalby Forest's first ever Canicross event!

Dalby's Canicross event will consist of a 5k course in a fantastic location.

Canicross is the sport of cross country running with dogs, it is dog powered, so they are harnessed , attached to the human and run in a team. The human is the driver, directing the dog from behind with voice commands. Canicross not only is a great method to get a human and a canine fit but works the dog’s mind and allows them to use their brain in a work mode.

Come and get involved in Dalby Forest's GO Tri event! Dalby Duathlon for ages 14+ will involve a 2.5k run, a 4.5k cycle, followed by a 2k sprint to cross that finish line! Dalby Duathlon @ Addestone Field will involve a 2.5km run, a 4.5km cycle, followed by a 2km run to cross that finish line! A great course in a fantastic location. All abilities welcome. We would recommend a mountain bike or a hybrid bike if you have one. The race is not a timed event however you are free to take your own times.
