In September 2019 the world’s best cyclists will come to Yorkshire for the UCI Road World Championships, the pinnacle event in the international road cycling calendar. The Championships will include a range of men’s and women’s races, across age groups from junior to elite, starting in different towns and cities throughout Yorkshire and each finishing in the main competition town of Harrogate.

The Dalby Forest head torch race will be the first of our Winter No Ego Challenges in Winter 2019. The 5 mile course takes place on the tracks and trails through the mighty Dalby Forest, North Yorkshire. After listening to your comments regarding bottlenecks after last January's event we have decided to use the Race #2 night Runner course, which is basically the original course, but clockwise. It offers a much more open start with no narrow trails for the first 1/2 mile and allows the runners to spread out more.

We are running a fun day where disabled people can play along side able bodied bowlers. We are working very hard to integrate the many different disabilities to accept and play with others on equal turns
In the 10 o’clock until noon will be fun bowling in numerous exercises from 1pm until 3 pm will be competitive Bowls with one disabled person in each team

This workshop aims to increase the awareness of safeguarding and protecting children and helps coaches to recognise possible signs of abuse and deal sensitively and effectively with issues that arise. It also prompts a review of practice to ensure that sport provides an enriching experience for children, and that coaches' behaviour is always above reproach.
