Sport England's Community Asset Fund is a programme dedicated to enhancing the spaces in your local community that give people the opportunity to be active. There are a number of things that they want to achieve with this funding, but most importantly they want to help local organisations to create quality and financially sustainable facilities that benefit their community for years to come – which may mean providing help to get things up and running too.
£100 to £5,000
Barchester’s Charitable Foundation is a registered charity that helps older people and other adults with a disability across England, Scotland & Wales. This year our focus is about connecting or re-connecting people with others in their local community. Applications that combat loneliness and enable people to be active and engaged will receive our highest priority in 2019.
£10,000 to £60,000
The Paul Hamlyn Foundation (PHF) has a grant fund of £25m a year until 2021 and £4m a year has been set aside for projects focused on helping marginalised young people. Youth work organisations can apply to two new funds - a Youth Fund and a Growth Fund. The Youth Fund will provide grants of between £10,000 and £60,000 to go towards core operating costs.

Birmingham and Black Country Communities Fund grants are awarded from the earnings of a number of endowment funds, which are created from contributions by individuals, companies and trusts and managed by Heart of England Community Foundation.
Full funding is available for coaching qualifications as part of a Sport for Change project in the Lakenham and Tuckswood area of Norwich.

The Eveson Charitable Trust is a regional Trust that only funds registered charities that are delivering projects that benefit people living in the West Midlands. In their eyes the West Midlands is classed as Herfordshire, Worcestershire, Birmingham, Coventry, Wolverhampton, Dudley, Sandwell, Solihull and Walsall.

The scheme is intended to support groups undertaking adventurous endeavours. In particular, the scheme wishes to fund adventurous "firsts", which have not previously been attempted.

The Transform Foundation provides grants for charities to develop an effective social media and web presence with the aim of developing future funding streams.

The Active Spaces programme combines the protection in perpetuity of green spaces, together with revenue funding to engage inactive people on those spaces. Each site will be offered delivery of a physical activity project on-site to the value of £5,000 to serve local needs and target identified groups of inactive people.

The Scarborough ’95 Trust is a Charity which awards grant aid to outstanding young sportsmen and sportswomen, and to outstanding disability sport performers, living in York and North Yorkshire.

The Facility Loan Scheme provides loans up to £250,000 to help venues deliver projects that will grow the number of people playing tennis.
£20,000 to £60,000
The Main Grants: Improving Lives Fund is the largest of the Charity’s funds, and will support the work of established charitable organisations with incomes of up to £2 million. Funding is available for projects that help people when other sources of support have failed, are inappropriate, or are simply not available.

The Trustees are given in the Trust Deed wide power of making grants and are not restricted geographically.

SUEZ Communities Trust provides funds to not-for-profit organisations to undertake work that is eligible under the Landfill Communities Fund (LCF).

Support the community and environmental projects across England through the Landfill Communities Fund, using money provided by Veolia.
