Sirius Minerals Foundation - Invitations for Expressions of Interest - Capital Grants for Sports Groups & Clubs

The Sirius Minerals Foundation invites sports groups and clubs to submit an expression of interest in advance of a potential application for a capital grant of between £20,000 and £50,000 to create or improve sports facilities that that will enable the group or club to increase the participation of local people in amateur sport.

The Foundation has allocated a budget of £200,000 for this grants programme.

Sirius Minerals Foundation - Small Grants for Sports Groups and Clubs

The Sirius Minerals Foundation invites sports groups and clubs to apply for a grant of up to £1,000 to purchase kit, equipment or training that will enable the group or club to support the participation of local people in amateur sport.

The Foundation has allocated a budget of £50,000 for this grants programme.

Making a Difference Fund

up to £1,500

Homes in Sedgemoor tenants, leaseholders, resident groups, voluntary & community groups and registered charities. We welcome applications from organisations that have a particular project that is targeted towards the area that we work in.

You will need a bank account in the name of the organisation with at least two signatories. If you don’t have a bank account, we may award your grant to another organisation who agrees to hold the grant on your behalf. In exceptional circumstances, we may agree to hold the grant for you and pay expenses on receiving an invoice or receipt.

Trusthouse Charitable Foundation - Community Centres & Village Halls Grants

Sirius Minerals Foundation

The Sirius Minerals Foundation has launched its latest grant giving programme, which this year focuses on increasing the participation of local people in amateur sport. Last year the charity distributed grants totally nearly £260,000 to local community projects.

The Foundation is providing two types of funding: capital grants of between £20,000 and £50,000 to create or improve sports facilities; and small grants of up to £1,000 to purchase kit, equipment or improve training. The initiatives will need to serve communities in Redcar and Cleveland, Scarborough Borough or the North York Moors National Park.

The Magic Little Grants Fund provides local charities and community groups the opportunity to access up to £500 funding to deliver engaging physical activities, which help to overcome barriers to participation and has a primary aim to improve the physical health and well-being of participants.
