How to Apply

2019/2020 Funding

Whilst our funding allocation is nearly all committed for the period April 2019 to March 2020 we would be happy to hear from potential applicants who have a great idea for a project which would start before March 2020.

Please have a look at the resources available to help with planning a satellite club, and also the 20/21 application form, as that will give you an idea of what we need to know.

2020/2021 Funding

We would love to hear from organisations who may have a great idea for a Satellite Club that would start from April 2020.

It may be that you have a great idea, but would need some help in developing it into a project, perhaps you need help in finding the right partners to help you deliver your project, or maybe you just have a project which would be ready to start in the Spring! Beginning the work to develop your project now means you can initially focus on working with young people to find out what they want, and where they want it. You could even task young people with completing the application themselves, with your, or North Yorkshire Sport's, support.

We are particularly interested in innovative ideas for projects which are young people led, we want to fund projects that have been designed by young people for young people.

Sustainability Funding

One of our priorities is to support your satellite club to become sustainable and to help young people who may have already developed a more resilient habit stay that way. If you are an existing satellite club and wish to discuss the potential to apply for sustainability funding, then please contact us for more details.
