NCS Assistant Team Leader – Summer 2019
As an assistant leader, you will support the Team leader, Wave leader and NCS Co-ordinator with the pastoral care and behaviour management of the NCS participants. This is a fulfilling and demanding position that is suitable for someone who has significant experience of working with young people, knowledge of support requirements and who is a specialist in managing challenging behaviour.

Be Responsible for up to 16 young people in a team.
Provide the supervision, motivation and inspiration to help your team succeed and enjoy the NCS experience.
Keep your team focussed and on track with the programme.
Assist in the delivery of activities for participants.
Ensure the young people complete the required 60 hours of social planning and action.
Act as liaison during the NCS programme for young people and their parents/carers with NCS.
Resolve minor issues on a daily basis, ensuring active management and communication towards safeguarding.
