About Development Manager - Girls Football Programme
As Development Manager you will work with senior level stakeholders to strategically position and connect the girls' football ambition in the education landscape. You will also lead the team to ensure the effective delivery of a range of bespoke football-based interventions for girls in schools in England. This will include implementing strong corporate procedures and processes to ensure the effective delivery of projects. You will also help influence the positioning of girls' football in schools and facilitate a joined-up approach to transition girls from school to community settings by working with colleagues to nurture, grow and support a network of The FA Girls' Football School Partnerships and their practitioners. Critical in this role will be the ability to engage with The FA and other stakeholders.
Confident project managing multiple, complex, long term projects in sport development you will have experience of working within the school landscape and grassroots sport. This will have involved co-ordinating work with external partners, including National Governing Bodies of Sport. You must have a strong understanding of the challenges facing girls' participation in sport and the education system in general. You will also possess sound knowledge of the latest developments in national and regional sports strategy as well as an understanding of The FA's strategy for Women's and Girls' Football.
Good at managing budgets you must also have well developed analytical, problem solving, project management and communication skills.
