About Head of Technology Transformation
This Head of Technology Transformation role is the opportunity you have been looking for. This is a critical role within the Youth Sport Trust as we seek to develop and implement a long-term technology strategy that will ensure that our digital systems and platforms are able to support the ambitions of the charity and our trading subsidiary.
We are an independent charity devoted to changing young people's lives through sport. We aim to pioneer innovative ways to engage and motivate young people to participate in sport, and for them to realise the positive impact it can have on their lives.
As Head of Technology Transformation, we will look to you to provide vision and thinking to the design and delivery of systems as well as drive projects and initiatives to change our use of digital systems and platforms. You will take responsibility for resource planning, management, reporting and coordination. You will organise requests for developments too. Working closely with our Director of Finance and Governance, you will prepare and manage an annual budget for core system development and evolution. You will also support the wider IT team to ensure the effective performance, security and effectiveness of our systems, websites and microsites. Important too, will be the ability to performance manage and oversee digital delivery partners.
Experienced in IT/System/technology product and service support procurement, you will have a track record of successfully creating and implementing a technology, digital and systems change agenda. Up-to-date with the latest trends, you will be expert at innovating the use of systems and technology to enhance an organisation as well as used to designing digital products and services that solve business requirements. Comfortable delivering an ROI, you will understand how to deliver efficiency savings, increase user adoption and improve the customer experience. You will also be effective at developing organisational capability.
In addition, you will possess strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills. Effective at managing competing priorities you will be able to build strong relationships with stakeholders and handle a complex workload. Highly organised, you will be good at planning and decision making too.
