About Regional Manager - South West
It is an exciting time to join Sport Works, an award-winning social enterprise, during a time of rapid expansion. Between 2019 and 2022 Sport Works will increase the number of people support by over 300%. An extremely skilled and dedicated person is required to join the team and support our mission to improve health, well-being and educational standards throughout the country.
Sport Works currently operates from eleven sites across England and we are proud of the impact our work has on both communities and individuals. The Regional Manager role is key to our improvement and growth in coming years and is tasked to bring Sport Works' 'mission' to the South West region.
Why the Role Exists
The Regional Manager will oversee and manage Sport Works' contracts across the South West of England with a key focus on establishing new projects/contracts throughout the region.
Geographically, the role will cover Gloucestershire, Avon, Wiltshire, Somerset, North Devon, Worcestershire and South Wales.
The position is tasked with obtaining new contracts which are structured to improve health, well-being and educational standards throughout the region. Working with our Commercial Director, the post holder also holds responsibility to manage all aspects of project delivery, including recruitment and line management of delivery staff, budget management and customer service.
The post requires constant communication with stakeholders to ensure projects are structured effectively and delivered to the highest quality standards.
Outcomes: The role is tasked with achieving the following outcomes in the first twelve months:
- To develop 16+ projects in year one, increasing by a minimum of 20% year on year thereafter
- Recruit and line manage multiple sports coaches and educational tutors, ensuring the highest standard of delivery is consistent across all programmes
- Build a network of over twenty stakeholders and partners
- Consistently meet monthly KPIs and score highly at performance reviews
- Provide monthly contract reviews to the Regional Manager
