North Yorkshire Sport LTD want to employ a passionate and committed People Development Manager to help ensure there is an educated, confident, diverse and inspiring workforce who are using physical activity to reduce inequalities in North Yorkshire. The post will also lead people development for Active Humber (50% of role).

About People Development Manager
We are seeking a person who will live and breathe our organisational values and behaviours, working comfortably on their own and as part of teams. You will be organised, driven by insight and able to articulate the impact of your work.
You will be able to connect, collaborate and work across different systems to drive our mission to use sport as a driver for positive change. You will have a strong understanding of the physical activity and sport landscape and the challenges and opportunities facing our communities in accessing physical activity on a regular basis. You will also have experience of building successful relationships with new partners, understanding their challenges and collaborating with them to find solutions and achieve impact.
Underpinning all of this will be a commitment to the safeguarding of children and young people and principles of equity and equality and well as being a champion for the voice of young people.
The role is part of our People Team, driving the workforce plan with a focus on engaging a range of non-sport external partners and leading the charities work to support and upskill the professional and voluntary workforce.
Key relationships will include Public Health, Adult Social Care, Children & Young People Services, GP's & Social Prescribers and Activity Providers to identify priorities and opportunities to improve the workforce and potential workforce delivering physical activity in the community.
