Jenny Wallwork – Commonwealth & European Medallist – Badminton
"During my sporting career I was always asked the same question, "who were my role models and why?" Every time I was asked this question my answer remained the same... "My parents".
My parents were both international Badminton Player's however being successful athletes wasn't the reason they inspired me. I have been lucky enough to travel all over the world, compete at the highest level, win medals at Commonwealth and European Championships, made friendships that will undoubtedly last a lifetime and enjoyed sporting success that has led me to a career working to improve the lives of disadvantaged young people through the power of sport.
They have been my number one supporter's during the highs, and my tower of strength during the lows. I always imagined that as I got older I would need them less, now thirty I know this isn't the case. Everything I am and everything I've been lucky enough to experience and achieve is because of the hard work, love and constant support they have shown me, and I will be forever grateful. They are my world"
