Canicross is back for 2019

The hugely popular Canicross returned to Dalby Forest on Sunday 17th February. Paws, feet and treats at the ready, the runners took part in a 5k route through the beautiful forest on what was a bright February morning.

Since Dalby's first Canicross event all the way back in February 2018, the success of the event has soared, with competitors from across the North travelling to join us at Dalby. With this, North Yorkshire Sport planned 4 exciting events for 2019, to make up the 2019 Canicross Quad Series.

As always, within the entry fee participants were given entry to Dalby Forest (incl. parking), water, dog treats and a Canicross finishers t-shirt. However, new for the 2019 quad series, each finisher also received a collectors medal. For each of the 4 races completed, runners will receive a different medal, with all 4 medals joining up to form one incredible mega medal, a fantastic keepsake highlighting the competitors' fantastic achievements.

It seems many participants have caught the Canicross bug, as many runners have signed up for all 4 events in the quad series. Tickets for the next event on 7th April are now available, if you would like to book click here.

A huge thank you to everyone who attended Sunday's event, and for your continued support with Canicross at Dalby Forest. Please click on the link below to find the results.
