Harrogate Town AFC Community Foundation to launch Walking Football Team

Walking Football has become a national phenomenon engaging thousands of people every week. With over 900 clubs now participating regularly, Harrogate Town AFC will be the latest club that offers the opportunity.
Members of Harrogate Town AFC Community Foundation along with volunteers Andy and John, think it is a fantastic idea;
"There is a very successful and well attended Walking Football session already at the CNG Stadium on Thursdays, so we know there is sufficient demand and hunger. There are more and more competitions to enter, and to have a Harrogate Town AFC team will be a great addition to the weekly programme.
The extra session will also increase the amount of physical activity individuals are completing during the week and no doubt improve health and wellbeing. There will be playing opportunities for those 50+ to get back and enjoy the beautiful game".
Join us for a taster training session taking place on Monday 11th February, 4-5pm at the CNG Stadium. Followed by a mini social gathering afterwards. Everyone will be welcome.
If you are interested in attending, please contact Iain Service – HTAFC Community Development Manager via email:firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone: 07465290222
