Canicross comes back to Dalby in 2020 and it's bigger and better!

The hugely popular Canicross returned to Dalby Forest on Sunday 8th March with the new 2020 6 Part Series! Paws, feet and treats at the ready, the runners took part in a 5k and 8k route through the beautiful forest on what was a bright March morning after having to rearrange the first event due to Storm Dennis.

In it's third year, 2020 bought bigger and better things to Dalby's Canicross with a 6 part series across the year, with competitors from across the North travelling to join us at Dalby. It was great to see familiar faces from previous years and many new participants ready to collect their 6 part medal this year.

The event was a huge success receiving some great feedback, one runner said "It was great to be back at Dalby's Canicross, after rearranging the previous date so quickly, the event was brilliant as always. My aim is to work up towards the longer distances by the end of the series. My dog Tilly and I loved it and can't wait to complete all 6 this year. Thanks for another amazing event, we love them".

As always, within the entry fee participants were given entry to Dalby Forest (incl. parking), water, dog treats and a Canicross collectors medal. For each of the 6 races completed, runners will receive a different medal, with all 6 medals joining up to form one incredible mega medal, a fantastic keepsake highlighting the competitors' fantastic achievements for the 2020 Canicross series.

We'd like to thank participants for being so understanding in regards to the date change of the event and look forward to welcoming you back to the next event on the 29th March. Tickets for the next event on 29th March are now available, if you would like to book.
