Why Yorkshire & Humber Learning Community?

As my role in the workforce team since 2018 developed and North Yorkshire Sport received amazing responses to our 'context survey'; an annual survey to assess the health of sports clubs, organisations and individual providers, it was evident that these 'contexts' wanted and needed training and support in areas like marketing, attracting participants and more. Comments from clubs included "we need more easily accessible training to fit around work for volunteers". North Yorkshire has issues as people travelling for training is more challenging with it being so large. Face to face courses are cancelled and it's the usual suspects attending. Read More »
