What is Windsurfing?

Windsurfing is a surface water sport that combines elements of surfing and sailing.

Windsurfing consists of a board powered by wind on a sail. Windsurfing is predominately undertaken on a non-competitive basis. Organised competition does take place at all levels across the world and typical formats for competitive windsurfing include Formula Windsurfing, speed sailing, slalom, course racing, wave sailing, superX, and freestyle.

The RYA OnBoard programme offers young people the opportunity to try out sailing and windsurfing through their local club or centre in a safe, structured and fun environment.

Team15

Team15 offers young people two opportunities; to be part of club sessions plus participate in the Interclub events where your team can go head-to-head with other teams in your region to decide an over
