Windsurfing is a surface water sport that combines elements of surfing and sailing.

An Overview of Windsurfing

It consists of a board powered by wind on a sail. Windsurfing is predominately undertaken on a non-competitive basis. Organised competition does take place at all levels across the world and typical formats for competitive windsurfing include Formula Windsurfing, speed sailing, slalom, course racing, wave sailing, superX, and freestyle.

On Board

The RYA OnBoard programme offers young people the opportunity to try out sailing and windsurfing through their local club or centre in a safe, structured and fun environment.

Team15

Team15 is a nationwide network of windsurfing clubs where young people aged 16 and under can get together to learn new windsurfing skills and have a laugh with their mates on the water.
