We offer our satellite clubs the opportunity to have flyers and posters designed by a design and marketing agency. All organisations and coaches delivering a satellite club register on our website. by signing up you can promote your club and sessions as well as receive our club newsletter (ensure you tick clubs in your email preferences to ensure you receive this).
REQUEST A MENTOR
To increase our capacity and allow us to work more closely with clubs, we have recruited mentors from around the county with different specialist areas of expertise. Areas of potential support from our mentors are:
- Marketing your session
- Coaching for target groups
- Attracting volunteers
- Business management
Join our communities of learning
Within these online communities you will see the latest coaching information, videos, blogs etc and be able to ask other coaches or one of the NYS Mentors, for their help or advice solving a problem. Club Matters is Sport England's one stop shop for sports clubs. Club Matters provides free, convenient, practical resources to help you develop and run a sustainable club. Once registered your club can access the following • Online support including online toolkits, quick reference guides and e-learning modules • Club Matters Workshops – free, short training sessions delivered across the county by experts in a range of specific areas. • Club improvement plan – Helps clubs of all sizes and at stages of development to establish where that are performing well and where they can develop. • Clubmark – the universally acknowledged cross sport accreditation scheme for community clubs
Workshops & training.
Clubs and community settings tell us that they want to continue to learn and develop, but are increasingly struggling to find the time with mounting pressures and commitments. We want to bring you a different way to learn through informal bite size modules. You'll be able to access a range of training from 'Increase your Membership using Facebook' to 'Delivering Engaging Sessions for Women and Girls'. We'll be adding training to the site as it's ready.
