Volunteering at the School Games
North Yorkshire Sport are always looking to work with volunteers to support the School Games programme. Volunteers and Young Leaders make up a large proportion of our workforce.
Two Volunteer Opportunities at this year's School Games
Queen Margaret's School York on Sunday 5th July 2020 (8:00 – 4:00 pm)
We're looking for enthusiastic volunteers aged 16 - 25 years old to support the delivery of our School Games this year.
We have two types of roles available:
1 - Event Volunteers
We can offer you the chance to be involved in the set up and delivery of our School Games County Finals being involved in a variety of roles on the day
Our event management positions are designed to offer you a unique opportunity to gain skills and essential practical experience, working alongside knowledgeable members of staff.
2 - Master of Ceremonies
Our Master of Ceremonies positions are designed to offer you a unique opportunity to gain skills and essential practical experience, working alongside knowledgeable members of staff.
As well as new skills it allows you to enhance your knowledge, provide examples of experience to put on your CV and gives you a chance to meet new people.
